An authentic German bakery and café. Recommended if you like hard-crust breads — every loaf is carefully made.

Opens at 11am, but popular items sell out fast, so it's best to arrive before noon.

RIPPLE

Known for pizza and bread baked in a stone oven fired with hardwood, coming out moist and chewy. It's popular, so it's best to stop by before lunchtime to reserve a spot, then return when your time comes. Takeout is also available. Open from late March through November; closed in winter.

オールドリバー

A restaurant overlooking the old Ishikari River, located on the second floor of Salmon Factory, a seafood processing shop. Enjoy à la carte seasonal seafood, small seafood rice bowls, and the chef's original dishes. Note that it closes at 3pm.

戸田記念墓地公園

A vast cemetery managed by Soka Gakkai, planted with around 8,000 cherry trees. The best viewing period is roughly May 1st to 7th each year. During bloom season, anyone may enter to view the cherry blossoms, regardless of religious affiliation.

恋人の聖地／厚田展望台

A monument for couples. It's traditional for young couples to climb up and ring the bell of vows. Inside the imposing monument is a staircase, and climbing to the rooftop offers a view of the distant sea.

A fence is set up where couples attach padlocks, wishing to stay firmly bound together.

いしかり砂丘の風資料館

A museum on the nature and history of Ishikari. Themed around “the nature and history of the sea, river, and river mouth,” it displays materials on the natural environment and history of the Ishikari River estuary, including the Ishikari-Momijiyama Site No. 49, dating back to the late early Jomon period (5,500 years ago). It also has a stuffed sturgeon that once lived in the Ishikari River.

ロイヤルシップ札幌ゴルフ倶楽部

A lodge-style clubhouse. The course is open with relatively short distances, featuring elevation changes and valley crossings that call for strategy.

太平洋クラブ札幌コース

A golf course that also hosts major tournaments. The course is spacious with long distances and relatively flat terrain. The practice range has around 20 bays, plus well-equipped approach and bunker practice areas, so you won't get bored even with a long visit.

シェイクスピアカントリークラブ

A mountain course with gentle undulations. With elevation changes and ponds, it offers strategic play. The clubhouse has an atmospheric, European-style design.

ハッピーバレーゴルフクラブ札幌

A luxurious, glamorous clubhouse. The restaurant has an open, atrium-like feel. The course features many water carries and dogleg holes.

スウェーデンヒルズゴルフ倶楽部

Adjacent to a cluster of Swedish-style houses, this course lets you enjoy Swedish-inspired scenery. It has moderate elevation changes and a few blind holes. Ride-on carts are restricted to cart paths only.

Jetビーチ&マリーナISHIKARI

This facility rents jet skis and banana boats. Ride a jet ski freely across the water and enjoy its powerful acceleration and exhilarating feel. Rental is ¥5,000 for 2 hours plus fuel cost. A special small-craft operator's license is required in Japan.

石狩天然温泉 番屋の湯

A natural hot spring with 100% source water, brownish in color. The water is a strong sodium chloride spring, said to retain heat well and offer beautifying effects. Other benefits include relief for poor circulation, atopic dermatitis, joint pain, nerve pain, muscle pain, and fatigue. Alongside an open-air bath and large indoor bath, there's also a jacuzzi and sauna.

佐藤水産 サーモンファクトリー店

A specialty shop for fresh ingredients, adjacent to the factory of one of Hokkaido's leading seafood processing companies. The sales floor is spacious, with a rich selection of processed goods centered around salmon products.

丹野商店

A large fresh fish market. In addition to a variety of fresh fish, it sells smoked seafood, snacks, sashimi, and grilled fish in large quantities at low prices. Great for picking up crab, sashimi-grade fish, or snacks to go with a drink — fun to browse even if you're not buying.

厚田港朝市

The Atsuta Port morning market, held daily from mid-April to mid-October, roughly 7:00am–2:00pm. Freshly caught seafood lines the stalls. Closed when fishing is suspended due to rough seas or similar conditions.

Main fish sold by season: April–June, flounder varieties, halibut, octopus, and rockfish; May–June, mantis shrimp and squid; June–August, scallops; July–mid-August, sea urchin; September–October, salmon. Processed goods (such as simmered smelt and salted herring roe skins) are also available April through October.

北欧の風 道の駅とうべつ

A large Swedish-style wooden building with a triangular roof, featuring an open, atrium-like interior. It carries a wide range of local produce, including vegetables, rice, and cut flowers.

It also houses a restaurant produced by Trattoria Terzina, serving Italian takeout dishes like piadina. Cup soup curry and pork rice bowls are also available for takeout.

道の駅石狩 あいろーど厚田

The rooftop of this two-story facility is an observation deck, famous as a scenic spot with sweeping views of the sun setting over the Sea of Japan.

There's a sales floor gathering local Ishikari products — sweets, processed goods, seasonal produce, frozen seafood products from Ishikari Bay, and general goods.

Recommended: Ishikari Fumiichi, whose signature menu is herring and herring-roe battera sushi. Also on-site are Bakery & Pizza HOME, serving freshly baked pizza and bread, and GELATO Lico Lico Atsuta, offering authentic gelato made with local ingredients.
